Meaningful and Varied Activities to Motivate Students

As educators, learning how to use the iPad for remote teaching and learning requires guidance, and an understanding of the technology’s potential in this new educational setting. Discover how to use the iPad to create content and share activities with your students, that keep lessons varied and interesting.

Working with free apps on the iPad, discover how to create, share, assess, organise and mark-up students work.

iPads coupled with the right collection of apps are a relevant and flexible tool, allowing teachers to inspire and students to collaborate, create and practise.

Remote Teaching Strategies

Creating and recording content that directly supports live lessons online is proving to be effective for both teaching and learning.

Use polls, quizzes and collaboration tools to quickly discover students understanding and gather student views.

Consider creative approaches to a task. Give students a choice of methods for sharing their understanding and development.

The twilight course will be led by Oscar Stringer, an Apple Education Trainer, who has been working with Apple technologies in schools for over twenty years.
